Night Rainbow 2
In the dark and quiet of the night,
Between two narrow bands of light,
A rainbow passes bright and strong
To bring with it an optic song.

Black stone, smooth stone
from frigid northern shores.
Bright tone, happy tone
To warm my heart and yours.

A starless sky on a summer night,
Relief of the mountain beyond.
Bivy out here where thoughts take flight
And feel your spirit respond.
